Welcome to the website of London based equestrian artist Caroline Towning. Caroline has been fascinated with horses ever since she was a young child and has dedicated her entire life to studying them.

If you are looking for a custom horse painting, Caroline will work with you to create the perfect artwork and your home. Every commission is different, and there is a choice between a watercolour on paper or an oil painting on canvas. Portraits can take between a couple of days or up to 16 weeks. It all depends on the medium, detail and size. After an initial consultation, Caroline will walk you through the process.
