The watercolour girl and the crow. In the quest to find my style, I think I just became closer.

This was all about mixing simplicity with intricately. I love suggestive lines and the face was all about elegance. The lines were sweeping, sexy and I tried to build up the colour slowly to make sure "less was more".

The hair and the crow are complicated, and I had a real play around with some mark making. Watercolours are so versatile and I like using the technique that's quite rough without too much water.  

This piece of work has opened up a whole new path and direction and I have already started my next piece.
