I have been wanting to create a personalised art gift set for quite some time as I get asked to paint a lot of dog portraits and I thought that it would be lovely if I could find a way to paint something which is then presented and turned into a lovely gift set.

I found these vintage glass and brass hanging photo frames and thought that they would be perfect to use as little canvases. The oil needs 2-3 coats to cover it enough and give it a great oil-based texture but the dogs look so fabulous when they are painted. I then got my own signature tags to put on the corners in the same brass to match the photo frame.

To gift wrap them I got some white boxes with my signature foiled blocked in the middle- which protected the artwork as well as make it look gorgeously presented. The whole thing is such a great and special present to receive. I love making these so much.
